Officially an SP alumni. The past 36 months has probably been one of the best time of my life. Throughout most of the time in the convention centre I kept thinking about the time when I was first matriculating into the school collecting my admission card and here I am wearing the robe with more knowledge then when I first enter into the polytechnic.
SP gave me more than just an education. It gave me a lot of opportunities. Opportunity to start dancing, opportunity to see the world, opportunity to widen my horizon and of course the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people during my time spend in SP.
To be absolutely honest, DCEM01 isn’t the best class you would want to be in but of course in every place there are gems hidden and I’m really really glad those gems existed in the class to make it such a better place. You people know who you are (Note: Plural okay! Not talking about Jeslyn only! HAHAHHA) and thank you for making the 3 years in poly so much more bearable and I won’t forget all those memories that I have gotten with you guys.
Dance, oh dance. Probably where I spend most of my time outside the class. 3 days a week evening and running until the night. I had such a wonderful time with dance. A large part of my poly’s social life came with dance and if I was given the chance to go through SP again I would still put my name on the registration list for SP Dancesport. Only this time, there wouldn’t be any hesitations. Dance made my life colorful, in fact the people made it so. From my super seniors to seniors to the people from my batch they all have so much craziness in them they are just awesome beyond words. Really grateful that I met them and I really do hope that we would still continue meeting up and not let it die away. Will miss dancing 3 times a week (actually I already do), will miss all those time we had preparing for performances and competitions and supper after practices and gossip sessions and those random dance moments. Thank you dance for making my poly life ever so memorable. Truly. Thank you.
Now that SP is a thing of the past. Gotta ‘look forward’ to the next chapter of my life. Another 2 years will be over soon. Can’t wait.
